FREQUENT FLIERS

Monthly & Annual Memberships

Owning a Fliteboard isn’t for everyone. While we certainly believe they are worth the investment, the price tag is still pretty steep for the technology. It may be prohibitive for some to lay out up-front. Moreover, storing, transporting, and maintaining a Fliteboard can present obstacles to ownership, especially in a city where space is limited. And, until now, there wasn’t really much choice beyond guided lessons and ownership. Wouldn’t it be great if there was another way?

Fear not, Dogpatch Foil has you covered. With our Frequent Flier programs, once you are certified, you will have access to our fleet of Fliteboards to ride solo. This is a truly unique opportunity to access efoil equipment (as there is no other way to rent Fliteboards without instructors). Moreover, we take away any hassles by storing, transporting, and maintaining the equipment. Plus, you can store your personal belongings, change, and prepare in our shop.

Benefits & Inclusions

  • The primary reason for a membership is that efoils are not available for rent anywhere without an instructor. They require a decent amount of training and are quite expensive. This unique and exclusive program offers an affordable and convenience pathway to solo efoiling without having to purchase the gear.

  • Another benefit of a membership is convenience. When you book a session, your board will be charged and ready to hit the water. You can use our facilities to change into your wetsuit, vest, and helmet (which you can store in the shop) and we’ll bring your board down the beach for launch. So easy!

  • All memberships include access to our fleet of Fliteboards, with your choice of board models, mast height, and wing shapes. Level-up equipment as you progress without having to buy a new board.

  • If you ride exclusively from Crane Cove Park, you never have to worry about storing, transporting, dropping off, or maintaining your gear.

  • Members will have access to our reservations system to book their sessions in advance (equipment is shared with the Flite School). For battery conservation purposes, sessions are limited to 60 minutes.

  • To qualify for membership, each individual rider must take enough lessons to demonstrate proficiency of basic efoiling skills. If you have previous experience, this may be obtained in one session. If you are new, expect 3+ sessions to reach proficiency.

  • Our certification package is the most affordable way to gain the proficiency enough to fly solo. It’s impossible to tell how many lessons are required, but if you are starting cold, we suggest three sessions before assessment for a membership.

  • Annual memberships do not require activation fees. Monthly memberships have the fee to discourage turning a monthly membership on and off. Remember, you can ride year-round in San Francisco and some of the best conditions are in the winter.
